Q. How is Superior Grass most often used?▼
Synthetic grass products are useful in many applications. Our surfaces are most commonly used for residential lawns, adding putting greens to gardens and for swimming pool surrounds. Our surfaces can be used for any number of reasons, but they’re most often used to minimise maintenance, upkeep and all the costs that usually come with a natural-grass lawn. Our surfaces are also not limited to outdoor use – indoor sports and pool surround use is also common.
Q. Is Superior Grass difficult to lay?▼
Not at all – the installation process is quick, easy and very straightforward. We offer a full range of accessories to help you get the job done, including joining tape and pegs. We even offer specialist grass cleaner to help with the maintenance of your lawn and keep it looking its best long after it’s been laid. View our products page for more information.
Q. What maintenance should I expect with Superior Grass?▼
All of our artificial grass surfaces are extremely low-maintenance. Occasionally brushing your grass will help to stand the grass fibres up, giving a bouncier, more natural look. This is recommended but not necessary. Debris such as leaves and twigs can be easily removed by using a leaf blower. Any mess from pets can be removed in the usual way, and grass will be washed by rainwater and then drain accordingly. Superior Grass products will not stain.
Q. How long will my Superior Grass last?▼
All of our artificial surfaces come with a 7-year guarantee, however the actual life-expectancy of Superior Grass products is dependent on use and care. Areas with heavy footfall will need to be replaced more frequently, but with regular brushing our Superior Grass can last upwards of 20 years.
Q. What about the weather? Is the sun or heavy rain harmful to Superior Grass?▼
Superior Grass is exactly that – superior. All of our products are built with UV-resistant fibres, so that they’re protected from the sun and fading. Heavy rainfall is also not harmful as Superior Grass has perforated, pre-punched drainage holes in the backing that allows water to drain into the base below. Drainage is actually better than on a natural grass lawn.
